An annual celebration of America’s favorite fried food, the West Reading French Fry Festival takes place each August. The event takes over the 600 and 700 blocks of Penn Avenue in West Reading as the street is lined with restaurants and food trucks all offering their best fries with unique toppings and fry-inspired dishes.

The 2025 event was held on August 16. Details about the 2026 event will be posted closer to the event date.
