Wyomissing Restaurant Highlights
While West Reading gets more publicity for its dining scene, neighboring Wyomissing is home to some excellent restaurants of all types and cuisines.
Craving Indian? You can’t go wrong at Wyomissing’s two Indian restaurants: Laxmi’s Indian Grille and Nirvana Indian Bistro.
Next door to Nirvana, you’ll find two other excellent spots: Oola Bowls is a small chain featuring acai bowls and smoothies while Thaiwat is one of the best Thai restaurants in Berks County with authentic meals that go beyond pad Thai. Masa, Tokyo Hibachi, Mikura, and Fortune Cafe are also great options for Chinese, Japanese, and Korean food.
For Italian, check out Russo Market. It’s an Italian grocery store and market that has an amazing hot bar of pizza, paninis, pasta, and more, plus prepared foods and frozen meals. And Italian mixes with Latin American cuisine at the fast-casual fusion restaurant Mary Jane’s Kitchen.
Fine dining is served up at State Hill Craft Cocktails & Kitchen. But if you’re looking for a more casual coffee shop vibe, check out Queens’ Cafe and Cloud 9 Cafe. There is also a great coffee stand, and also plenty of other food options, at the PA Dutch Farmers Market of Wyomissing.
