If it’s Italian you’re looking for, Mom Chaffe’s Cellarette is one of the longest-running restaurants in Berks County for a reason. Just up the street, GNA Ristorante is another local favorite with decades of experience. Their success led to the addition of a second restaurant, Nonno Alby’s, which specializes in wood-fired pizza. Craving Mexican food? West Reading has three great options. At the lucha libre-themed Lets Taco Bout It, the menu includes oversized tacos called luchadors. Taqueria Comalli started as a food truck, but its brick-and-mortar location has been extremely popular since it opened. And for a sit-down experience, check out La Abuela at the eastern end of the business district.
West Reading is also home to places that are unique among Berks County restaurants. Hawaii Kitchen offers sushi burritos and poke bowls while Aladdin Restaurant offers cuisine from Lebanon and the Mediterranean.
