Berks Jazz Fest returns to Greater Reading starting March 19 with events stretchnig through Jazz Appreciation Month in April. And nothing goes better with live music than great food. Here is Berks County Eats’ guide to where to eat during Berks Jazz Fest:

The Peanut Bar will once again host the opening kickoff event – the Harold B. Leifer Memorial Brunch on March 20 featuring the Groovemasters. The restaurant will continue to host concerts throughout Jazz Fest. Wednesday, March 25 will see the Uptown Band perform while Peter Rogan & Reality Check will be live on Friday, March 27. Two April events – Chris Heslop and the Bob Kreitz Band on April 1 and Berks Bards, Poetry and Jazz Night on April 23 – let you extend the Jazz Fest experience.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Reading will be hosting more than 20 events and concerts during the 10-day festival, including Sunday Jazz Brunch on March 22 and March 29. The onsite Cheers Bistro is the perfect place to grab dinner before or after the afternoon and evening shows.
