The Oley Valley Heritage Association is hosting a Cherry Fair at the Keim Homestead on May 23. The event is part of the America 250 celebration. According to the event page on Facebook, the Cherry Fair will feature Pennsylvania Dutch food, music, crafts and children’s activities.

At one time, the Cherry Fair was an annual tradition when the homestead was under the care of the American Folklife Society. Full details of the 2026 version of the event will be announced closer to the date.
