On Berks County Eats, we’ve enjoyed many memorable meals in Reading and Berks County, and some of the best have come at the county’s finer dining restaurants. Elevated food, atmosphere and service have led to some excellent finer dining meals. Here’s a look at those that we have enjoyed:

A salmon BLT, toasted and cut in half, on a plate alongside a metal basket of fries at Doc & Bubba's in Mohnton, PA

Review: Doc & Bubba’s

Doc & Bubba's is one of many new restaurants to open in Berks County in 2022 - and it's also one of the best.
A plate with a filet Mignon, serving of mushroom risotto, seafood cake topped with lime ailoi, green beans and a purple flower from the Inn at Centre Park

Review: The Inn at Centre Park

Valentine's Day 2020 took us to one of the most elegant venues in Berks County, the Inn at Centre Park, a B&B and event space that opens for (delicious) public dinners once a month.
Limoncello chicken - a plate of capellini pasta topped with a chicken breast covered in a yellow safron aioli from Judy's on Cherry

Review: Judy’s on Cherry

Date night at Judy's on Cherry provided one of our most memorable meals on the blog, an excellent experience with delicious food in one of Berks County's coolest venues.
Three scallops with risotto, spinach and a lemon in a round shallow bowl from Go Fish Seafood in Sinking Spring

Review: Go Fish! Seafood Restaurant and Sushi Bar

Go Fish! Seafood Restaurant and Sushi Bar opened in a new location in September after an 18-month hiatus. The new restaurant is worth the wait.

Franklin Street Station may no longer be serving train passengers, but the Saucony Creek Brewing Company is serving some very good food - and drinks - to patrons at this historic transportation hub.
Wagyu Steak with chimichurri sauce

Review: The Heritage Restaurant

I will admit that before last week, the Heritage Restaurant in Morgantown was not high on my list of places
B2 Bistro's steak frites - steak with fries and Brussels sprouts

Review: B2 Bistro + Bar

B2 Bistro + Bar was already one of the most talked about restaurants in Berks County before it opened in February 2019. We paid a visit to see what the buzz was all about.
Belvedere Inn Short Ribs

Berks County Eats takes a short road trip to Lancaster County for a pre-Valentine's Day dinner at The Belvedere Inn, one of the 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in the country according to the users of OpenTable.
Salute Pizza Montanara

Review: Salute Ristorante Italiano / Dante’s 900

We made a return visit to Salute Ristorante Italiano, via Dante's 900. It was an evening of highs (potato ravioli with duck ragu) and lows at a restaurant we loved on our last visit three years ago.
Boursin fried chicken from Franklin House Tavern

Road Trip: Franklin House Tavern

Berks County Eats makes a road trip to Schaefferstown, Lebanon County, and the Franklin House Tavern, for a finer dining experience with one of the best chicken dishes we have ever tasted.
Savory Grille Chicken Risotto

Review: Savory Grille

A birthday celebration calls for a special night out, and there are not many nights out in Berks County that are as memorable as a meal at Savory Grille.
The 20-ounce dry-aged ribeye at Willoughby's on Park

Review: Willoughby’s on Park

Three years ago, Berks County Eats visited Willougbhy's Bar & Grill. We returned to the restaurant, now Willoughby's on Park, to experience the high-end steakhouse that it has become.
